Our Pilot House design, which is used on most workboats, offers the maximum amount of visibility for operating a boat. The Pilot House also provides maximum protection to the operator from the weather elements. The design, when fitted on a 17- , 19- or 21- foot Arima Sea Ranger, offers the average fisherman or pleasure boat operator a unique boat. The boat is trailerable to anywhere a boat launch exists, and offers all-weather boating comfort.

Tinted safety glass, one-quarter inch thick, is used in the finishing of the windows. Each top is fitted with two independently operated electric windshield wipers with pantographic arms to offer maximum visibility in foul weather conditions. Two interior lights allow you to check charts, etc., in the evening hours. A standard removable extension canvas with a zipper door and side curtains is used to totally enclose the hardtop structure.

Each of our custom hardtops is framed with European Teak, which is hand fitted by expert craftsman to the many different angles involved in matching the fiberglass top to the boat. The custom fitting of each piece of teak results in a structure which is sturdy and eye appealing. Because of the nature of Burmese Teak, each hardtop is one of a kind, both in color and wood grain design.
